  16. 1 -cup mint leaves
  17. 2-3 green chilli
  18. 5-6 clove garlic
  19. 1 -inch ginger
  20. 1 -spoon sugar
  21. 1 -spoon cumin seed
  22. to taste Salt
  23. 3-4 spoon lemon juice

Steps to make to make Gujarati Handvo

  1. Mix all the above lentils and soak in water for 4-5 hours..now add curd and grind in the mixer to form a paste..now add green chillies,coriander leaves,red chilli powder,turmeric,salt and grated Carrot,cabbage and bottlegourd..now mix everything..
  2. Lastly add a packet of eno..now take a nonstick pan..add oil on it then add cumin seeds and sesame seeds..now add the batter..now wait till it becomes crispy on both the sides(golden brown)..your handvo is ready
  3. Now for the chutney add all the above chutney ingredients and grind it in the mixture.. your chutney is ready.
